James Emery

Local Authority Governor

James is a first-time Parent Governor. he has lived in Llantwit Major for 33 years, is married to Debbie and has 4 children, two of which; Katie and Ben attend Ysgol Y Ddraig. He runs 2 businesses with his brothers – COS Group and Skogstad UK. James also sits on both the Board of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce and Hokkei; the takeaway concept launched by Cardiff-based 2014 ‘Masterchef’ finalists. He is a life-long Cardiff City fan, and is keenly involved in the local live music scene. He is excited about contributing to a new chapter in the education of the young people of Llantwit Major.
