I am extremely pleased to have been voted onto the GB as a parent representative. I was involved on the temporary GB every step of the way in bringing both primary schools together to become Ysgol Y Ddraig, from advertising for the Head’s appointment, sitting on the panel at interview, the sometimes tricky process of amalgamation and the naming of Ysgol Y Ddraig. For these reasons and many more I am very keen to be involved in Ysgol Y Ddraig’s future development and helping to make decisions that have the children’s and whole school’s best interests at heart.
